HOW TO ARRIVE

BY CAR


From Florence:

From the Autostrada A11 Firenze-Mare (motorway), leave at the Pisa Nord exit, then take the SS Aurelia trunk road in the direction Sud (South) until you reach Pisa (around 6km), or alternatively, take trunk road Strada di Grande Communicazione Firenze-Pisa-Livorno (SGC FI-PI-LI) leaving at the Pisa Centro exit.


From Rome and from Bologna:

Take the Autostrada A1 (motorway) to Firenze (Florence), then take the Autostrada A11 (motorway), leaving at the Pisa Nord exit. From Rome you can also take the A12 motorway to Civitavecchia, then continue on the SS1 Aurelia trunk road, then at Rosignano take the A12 at Rosignano and exit at Pisa Centro.


From Genoa:

Autostrada A12 Genova-Rosignano (motorway), take Pisa Nord exit or Pisa Centro exit.

BY TRAIN

Pisa Centrale railway station is just steps away from the city centre. There are direct connections with Turin, Milan, Florence, Lucca and Rome. From Venice, Siena and Bologna you need to take the railway line that passes through Florence.

BY PLANE

Pisa Airport is about 1 km from Pisa Centrale Station. From Pisa Central station you can reach all the destinations of the Italian railway network.Starting from March 18, 2017, less than 40 meters from the Passenger Terminal of Pisa Airport, the new fully automatic and fast connection People Mover, which connects the Airport directly to the Central Station of Pisa every 5 to 8 minutes, is operational every day from 6:00 am to midnight.
