The didactic amphitheatre is a theatre event, an occasion to reflect lightly on the role of digital systems in the everyday life of Ina, a housewife. Ina tidies things up all day long… But how much will the digital world help her in her chores? Will she have time to carefully tidy her own life, or will she get lost in an obscure selfie? Will she be smart enough to develop strategies to run her life online together with her partner, Lollo, who works with digital systems? We will ponder together on metaphors such as “Cleaning up is like loving. Nothing we can do about it: the time will come to everyone”, “Every time I do the washing up, I also clean my thoughts: some are rough and greasy, others are thin and light. I always put the latter in the dish rack first.” Metaphors and aphorisms are not just appendixes in language, but they allow us to interpret and act in the world in a different manner. Our metaphors govern us and they are like interfaces with reality using our imagination. But can we tidy up our own thoughts every now and then? We will be waiting for you in front of Ina’s sink. Because at the end of the day, there will always be dishes to wash… Offline.
