Is it possible to rethink creative processes on biological-cognitive bases? Do humans tell stories to ensure survival? How can we combine literary theory, evolution and cognitive science, and why? Three scholars – Alberto Casadei, Michele Cometa, and Paolo Gervasi – will discuss the theme for IF 2018, starting from their respective and most recent publications in a non-academic conversation, moderated by Matteo Pelliti, to shed light (or increase questions) on the biological “intelligences” of literary processes.
