Funky Tomato Party, or a DJ set and tomato-based cocktails, to show that the food supply chain is a performance made of rhythm and repetition, just like music. The link between food and music is clear, and explored by the Funky Tomato Party. Sister Violet from Bass pirates Label will be dj-ing, and during the performance the cocktail O sang e maria (the blood of maria) will be handed out, a new interpretation of the Bloody Mary with the addition of anchovy juice and basil. The drink was first created in Cetara when Funky Tomato met chef Pasquale Torrente, talking about Campania’s ability to welcome different cultures.
