“Cronache di un sequestro” by Enzo Mauro is the webseries of Repubblica TV on the 55 days of the kidnapping of Aldo Moro. Ten episodes show, week after week, the events of that 1978, 40 years later. The story follows the facts with a “real time” news approach, but asking the questions that rose in the following years, thanks to the work of investigators, journalists and historians. The webseries, a language used in these years mostly for works of fiction, in this case has turned a historical event into a series. All in the context of a cross-media project: “Cronache di un sequestro” also includes a documentary for TV, a special website, a series of articles on La Repubblica newspaper, the possibility to consult digital copies of 1978 newspapers and original documents such as the prisoner’s letters and Brigate Rosse memos. The t-tour shows the creation, the construction and the realization of a serial narration specific of web language that continuously dialogues and intertwines with a series of other contributions in different media.
