We know that games can be very involving, that they work well to transmit information and train skills. Games are always interactive models of a complex system. The goal of the designer is to give players the possibility to act in that system, which is only possible if its interconnections and emerging behaviours are understood. A game is always a way to explain things in a tangible manner. The question is: is this way of teaching always preferable?
